Creating Groups

To go beyond the basic search on FDAzilla, you need to create groups.

For example, you can create groups of:

  • Your company sites
  • Suppliers
  • Competitors

To create your first group, follow this example for Sanofi.

Create a New Group

Step 1

Click on the “Sites” tab on the left side of the screen and search for Sanofi.

Step 2

Click on the “Company” column in the results to sort alphabetically so that you can then easily pick out the sites you are looking for.

Click on the checkboxes under the “Label” column for your selected sites.

You can click the Select All link if you would like all search results included in your group.

Step 3

Click on the blue Add to Groups button in the top right corner.

To create a new group, click on the green Create New button in the pop-up window.

Type the name of your new group Sanofi in the Label Name field and Save.

On the next window select the Sanofi group you just created and then click the Add to Groups button.

That’s it! You just created your first group.

Create a Sub-Group

After you create a group, you can add sub-groups to it.

Step 1

Follow steps 1 and 2 above to select the sites that you want to include in your sub-group.

Click on the blue Add to Groups button in the top right corner.

Step 2

To create a new sub-group, click on the green Create New button in the pop-up window.

Type the name of your new sub-group in the Label Name field.

Then select the Nest label under checkbox and choose the name of the group you want to add a sub-group to from the Choose Group dropdown menu. Hit Save.

Step 3

To finish creating the sub-group, you need to expand the group you just added the sub-group to, in this case Sanofi, and then select the sub-group you just created.

Lastly, hit the Add to Groups button.
